We’re seeking servers who are passionate about hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Job Description:
As the Kitchen Manager at Crab Cab, you will lead our kitchen team and play a critical role in delivering exceptional food quality and service. You will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food is prepared to the highest standards, managing inventory, and maintaining food safety. Your leadership will help create a cohesive and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring that our guests enjoy a consistently excellent dining experience. You will also work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth operations and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all kitchen operations to ensure efficient and high-quality food preparation.
  • Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing training and support as needed.
  • Ensure food is prepared according to recipes, portion control, and presentation standards.
  • Monitor food safety and sanitation procedures, ensuring the kitchen complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain inventory levels, track food costs, and place orders for ingredients and supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, walk-ins, and storage areas.
  • Manage kitchen schedules, ensure shifts are properly covered, and maintain an effective team structure.
  • Work with the executive team on menu planning, creating specials, and implementing new dishes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar leadership role in a full-service restaurant.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience in inventory management, cost control, and vendor relations.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
