Job summary

Hope The Mission seeks a Kitchen Logistics Manager to oversee storage, packaging and delivery coordination for HTM's kitchen operations. You will supervise drivers, ensure labeling and safety standards, and maintain inventory to support the food program.

This role focuses on making cooking possible at scale, with no cooking yourself, ensuring timely deliveries, FIFO rotation, and clear communication with the Executive Chef and Senior Director of Food Services.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum in high-volume food service, warehouse, or logistics.
• Experience supervising staff or coordinating delivery operations preferred.
• Familiarity with FIFO and stock rotation practices.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and inventory logistics best practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate packaging of prepared food for storage and distribution.
• Oversee labeling, dating systems, and packaging safety compliance.
• Supervise delivery drivers and schedule routes.
• Track vehicle maintenance and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain active kitchen-floor presence to supervise logistics.
• Produce reports on inventory, delivery schedules and logistics measures.
