Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. is seeking a Food Presentation and Prep Associate in Lakeland, FL. You will set up garnish stations, assist line cooks, and ensure accurate plating and presentation for dining room orders.

Responsibilities include coordinating with pantry, maintaining dish stock, adhering to ServSafe and HACCP guidelines, and supporting kitchen sanitation. This is an on-site role requiring physical stamina and teamwork to deliver high-quality guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Partial High School education; High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• Able to coordinate communication with multiple people and stations and maintain proper plate service with accuracy.
• Possess or be able to complete ServSafe certification; strong sanitation skills.
• Possess knowledge of culinary terms and practices; able to follow recipes to prepare basic items.

Responsibilities

• Set up garnish station; stock appropriate dishes and utensils.
• Communicate with pantry and line cooks about soup du jour, specials, and outed items; relay information accurately to dining room staff.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to maintain dish stock and present plates to servers.
• Maintain cleanliness and rotation of food products; ensure sanitation.
• Ensure plates are delivered with correct presentation and minimal waste.
• Support sanitation and equipment cleaning; tidy station after shift.
• Follow ServSafe and HACCP guidelines; attend safety meetings.
• Perform other duties as required.
