Job summary

Atrium Hospitality is hiring for a part-time kitchen/food preparation role at Springfield University Plaza, Springfield, MO. You will maintain cleanliness, manage dishware, and support event teams while adhering to sanitation standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• No experience? No problem! We’ll train the right candidate.
• Food Safety Certificate or willingness to complete training within 90 days.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, or squat for long periods.
• A team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, prep areas, walk-ins, and storage spaces
• Wash and store dishes, pots, pans, glasses, and utensils in designated areas
• Manage trash and recycling, including cleaning bins and maintaining the dock area
• Support kitchen and event teams with setup, breakdown, and occasional dish-up assistance
• Help ensure consistent sanitation standards across all food and beverage workspaces
