Job summary

HM Alpha Hotels & Resorts Division DoubleTree Raleigh is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness, safety, and efficiency of kitchen and dining operations.

You will sanitize and store kitchenware, assist in food prep when required, and collaborate with the culinary team to support smooth service, including banquet setup and stock rotation.

A high school diploma is required; background check is mandatory and benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, and work areas.
• Sweep and mop floors regularly to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Wash dishes by hand and machine, including twice running glasses through the dish machine.
• Hand-wash pots, pans, and trays with care to prevent damage.
• Clean surfaces such as worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks to meet hygiene standards.
• Sort, remove, and dispose of trash and recyclables; clean containers and areas as needed.
• Assist in food prep when required, including washing and peeling vegetables.
• Transport supplies and equipment between storage and service areas using carts or hand trucks.
• Polish silverware using proper tools and techniques when necessary.
• Set up banquet tables or kitchen service areas for special events.
• Put away clean items and rotate stock to support kitchen organization and flow.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely service.
