Job summary

GF Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dependable dishwasher to support a busy Newark, Delaware kitchen. You will scrape, sort, and load dishes, assist bussers, and help with additional cleaning duties as needed.

We require good physical condition and a high school diploma or equivalent; prior food service experience is preferred, and a strong work ethic is essential for advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Place utensils and dishes in proper storage after unloading the dishwasher.
• Participate in regular meetings to ensure procedures and safety rules are followed.
• Sort dishes, scrape plates, and rinse glassware before loading into the dishwasher.
• Maintain a clean working environment by sweeping and mopping kitchen floors daily.
• Ensure appropriate levels of detergent and cleaning supplies and monitor dishwashing machine maintenance.
