Job summary

World Famous Hotboys in Carmel, IN is seeking a reliable Cook for the Evening Shift to help maintain quality and speed in a busy kitchen.

You will follow recipes, prepare ingredients, keep a clean station, work with the team, and handle high-volume service. Must be able to stand, lift up to 75 pounds, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Pay ranges from $13 to $18 per hour, with employee discount and flexible scheduling; weekend availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of kitchen experience (cook/food prep).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing and chopping ingredients.
• Cook and present dishes according to menu specifications, including following recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes and utensils and maintaining inventory levels.
• Communicate effectively with other team members, including the kitchen staff and management.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned

We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking COOK (Evening Shift) to join our team. This position plays an important role in helping maintain the quality, consistency, and experience that Hotboys is known for.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and able to maintain consistency and quality during high-volume service periods.
