Job summary

Big Y Foods, Inc. is hiring a Kitchen Clerk in New Milford, CT to provide exceptional customer service while preparing and stocking kitchen products. You will maintain department conditions, ensure the freshest quality, and uphold food safety standards and cleanliness in the kitchen area.

The role involves assisting customers with inquiries, sharing product knowledge, and being adaptable to cross-train into other areas as needed. A flexible schedule and being at least 18 years old are required.

The Kitchen clerk is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by preparing and ensuring the freshest quality product. The Kitchen Clerk maintains department conditions, to include preparing, stocking and serving kitchen products. They also maintain food safety standards and cleanliness in the kitchen area and handle customer inquiries while providing product knowledge and expertise.
