Job summary

Cardenas Markets in Las Vegas, NV is hiring a Kitchen Clerk to deliver friendly, quality customer service in a retail kitchen setting. You will be a role model by upholding our values and assisting customers and cooks.

This role includes greeting customers, stocking displays, maintaining cleanliness and food safety, taking orders, and supporting kitchen equipment use. Valid Food Handlers Card and prior customer service are preferred. Physical duties include walking and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Organize products in display case and tables while ensuring fully-stocked cases.
• Maintains standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, department conditions, and food safety.
• Assists the cooks with making specific dishes.
• Fills and re-stocks front counter utensils, water sanitizer, vegetables, and drinks.
• Work with various professional kitchen equipment, including heat sources, mixers, and blenders.
• Takes food orders in person and by telephone.
• All other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Kitchen Clerk delivers quality customer service in a retail store environment. The individual is expected to be a role model of the company by delivering excellent customer service while maintaining company core values.
