Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Kitchen Cleaner to perform a range of cleaning duties across assigned facilities, ensuring a clean, safe, and orderly environment for employees, clients and visitors.

Shift: Mon-Fri (8pm-4:30am). Hourly pay: $20.20. ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package. Experience in janitorial roles is a plus; must lift up to 50 pounds and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, ensure hygiene standards.
• Empty trash/recycling, report safety hazards, maintain supplies.
• Clean windows and glass surfaces; clean kitchen areas as assigned.
• Operate and store cleaning equipment safely; follow company protocols.

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Kitchen Cleaner to perform a variety of cleaning duties to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment across assigned facilities. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the overall appearance and sanitation of the workplace, contributing to a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors.

Hourly Pay: $20.20

Shift: Mon-Fri (8pm-4:30am)

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met
• Empty trash and recycling bins and waste in accordance with company policies
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation

Clean the assigned area which could be at the Kitchen, removing grease from the hoods, stoves, wall, and floors. Duties may include cleaning and maintaining carpets and hard surface floors by vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.

Cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.

Wash black mats and lift up to 50 pounds

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
