Job summary

Cardenas Markets is seeking a Kitchen Cashier to provide friendly, efficient customer service and accurate cash handling in a fast-paced retail environment. This role models company values of integrity and teamwork while supporting cooks and food preparation as needed.

You will stand and walk throughout shifts, handle orders in person and by phone, maintain store conditions, and uphold food safety standards while delivering a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a Valid Food Handler's Card.
• Customer service and retail experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service with accuracy and perseverance.
• Shows care for people; builds positive team relationships.
• Maintains quality, cleanliness, safety, and food safety standards.
• Assists cooks with prepared dishes.
• Restocks front counter utensils, sanitizers, vegetables and drinks.
• Follows voids, refunds and cancellation procedures.
• Maintains cashier productivity.
• Takes food orders in person and by phone.
• All other duties as assigned.
