Job summary

Chick-fil-A Bend is hiring for a Kitchen Breader/Team Member to support the kitchen with breading chicken, filleting, and overall food preparation. You will help keep the breading station stocked, maintain product quality, and uphold Chick-fil-A's safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bread chicken according to procedures.
• Restock, fillet, and breading at the station.
• Set up breading station for service periods.
• Label, date, and store food per FIFO procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in work area.
• Assist with dishwashing and other kitchen tasks as needed.

The Kitchen Breader plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient kitchen operation by preparing and breading chicken in large quantities, filleting, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This position supports the kitchen team by ensuring chicken is prepared on time, assisting with dishes and cleaning as required, ensuring product quality and freshness, and upholding Chick-fil-A’s commitment to excellence in food safety and service.

NOTE: This is for Breading Kitchen Member position

NOTE: This position is for Applicants 18 and above .

Responsibilities:

We are looking for applicants who exhibit the following qualities:

• Prepare food to exact procedural standards.
• Food Preparation: Restocking , Filleting , and Breading.
• Station Setup: Ensure breading station is fully stocked and ready for service periods.
• Inventory and Rotation: Label, date, and store food properly following FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
• Cleanliness & Sanitation: Keep breading area and storage organized and clean. Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety
• Assist with dishwashing for raw dishes and those from other parts of the kitchen
• Assist with other tasks as requested by leaders

Applicants will also be expected to be able to work on their feet for several hours at a time and lift heavy objects when necessary. Prior experience is preferred, but not necessary.

Appearance Standards

As a Team Member of Chick-fil-A Bend, you will be expected to adhere to these appearance standards at all times:

• No fashion-dyed hair
• No facial piercings. Only a plain stud is allowed in one nostril (no jewels)
• Ears may be pierced; all jewelry must be plain studs (no jewels, hoops, or dangles)
• Hair must be kept neat and out of the face at all times
• Beards may be up to 0.25” in length; in the kitchen, a beard net must be worn at all times
• Nails must remain a natural length and not be visible from the underside of the hand.
• No jewelry is permitted on the wrists; rings must be plain bands, and necklaces must remain tucked under your uniform at all times
