Job summary

Drury Inn & Suites Knoxville is hiring for a food prep/ kitchen assistant role. Under supervision, you will prepare a variety of food items according to recipes and help deliver guest orders with hospitality and a high standard of service.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean prep area, operating basic kitchen and bar equipment, and supporting teammates to ensure guest satisfaction. 18+ age requirement and English proficiency are essential; expect opportunities for growth and employee

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Requires ability to take written and verbal direction in English and speak English clearly.
• Requires ability to operate machines and equipment used, including but not limited to POS software, dishwashers, kitchen equipment, etc.
• Requires ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of team members; ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people while exhibiting a professional demeanor.
• Requires ability to support bartender, but does not make or pour alcoholic beverages.
• Requires ability to clean and maintain areas for which responsible.
• Requires ability to effectively and efficiently move around bar and kitchen area.

Summary:
