Bright Horizons is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the catered kitchen at a child care center. You will help prepare nutritious, family-style meals that fuel children's growth and learning, creating a warm daily routine for kids and staff.

This full-time, Monday–Friday role offers early hours (7am–3pm) and opportunities for professional growth within Bright Horizons, with emphasis on safety, dietary needs, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• Food handler certification preferred within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in childcare center or high-volume kitchen is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure meals meet dietary requirements and allergies are accommodated.

If hired, you will work in person in an early education/preschool child care center to provide food service per Bright Horizons’ policies, procedures and guidance, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations, and in a manner that will ensure safety of children in Bright Horizonscare and the employee.Physical demands include lifting and carrying food and supplies (typically 10 to 40 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds), standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, pushing carts, and performing repetitive kitchen and cleaning tasks.
