Job summary

Claiborne Senior Living is seeking a Kitchen Assistant/Dishwasher to support a welcoming dining experience for residents. This role emphasizes ownership, integrity, and a team culture in a senior living setting.

You’ll transport and clean dishes, maintain a safe kitchen, and assist with daily cleaning tasks while interacting professionally with residents and guests. Fast-paced environment with focus on cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous restaurant or dining experience preferred.
• Experience working with seniors is a plus.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Transport dishes, utensils, and equipment to and from the kitchen.
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store all kitchen items.
• Keep the dish room, kitchen, and dining areas clean and organized.
• Assist with kitchen breakdown and daily cleaning tasks.
• Support dining room service when needed.
• Maintain a safe environment by following sanitation and safety standards.
• Interact with residents, families, and guests in a friendly and professional way.
• Communicate any concerns about resident well-being to your supervisor.
• Work as part of a team to keep operations running smoothly.
