Job summary

Jason's Deli is hiring a Back of the House Line Employee in Topeka, KS. You will perform multiple set-up and line positions across the kitchen and dining support areas.

Responsibilities include sandwich making, expediting, bussing, and food running during shifts. Qualification focuses on ability to learn routines and communicate effectively, with basic education and some experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: preferred to be enrolled in high school or GED program or have HS diploma or GED.
• Experience: at least six months work experience preferred.
• Skills: ability to learn basic job routines and communicate effectively.
• Health: must not be infected with a communicable disease as per health dept regs and company dress code policies.
• Physical Standards: stand up to 6 hours, lift up to 30 pounds, operate kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform in back-of-house line positions: vegetable prep, fruit prep, salad bar setup, front line setup, back line setup, meat slicer, catering prep, bread prep, recipe person, project person, bus/dish setup.
• Shift duties include positions: sandwich maker, expeditor, end person, drink person, back line maker, to-go expeditor, salad bar restocker, food runner, bus person, dishwasher.
