The Koch Internship Program (KIP)

is a paid experiential learning program run by Stand Together Fellowships that offers professional development, leadership training, and meaningful work experience at non-profits tackling some of our nation's most pressing policy challenges all over the United States. Early-career professionals including undergraduate/graduate/law students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Eligible candidates will be geographically located in and authorized to work in the United States through the duration of the program. Successful candidates will interview with both our non-profit partner organizations and Stand Together Fellowships staff.

About Media Research Center:

The Media Research Center (MRC) is America’s premier media watchdog. Since 1987, MRC has exposed left-wing bias in news and pop culture, defended free speech, and fought Big Tech censorship of conservatives. With powerful tools like its TV news archive and CensorTrack database, MRC provides hard evidence of bias and censorship. We educate the public and shape the national conversation across platforms that generate over 500 million weekly impressions.

As a Marketing intern, you will have the opportunity to work and learn about digital messaging. The interns will work with the various MRC social media platforms including Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, and more. Marketing interns will learn project reporting, find and share quote graphics, and monitor/clipvideos from events and post them to the MRC social channels.

Qualifications of an MRC Marketing intern:

• Ability to present ideas concisely and clearly in writing
• Understanding of social media and email as grassroots marketing tools
• If interested in graphic design, a potential intern will be able to display past work in graphics ordesign material
• Ability to meet deadlines

This internship is designed for students and recent graduates. The position is in-person only at MRC headquarters; remote work is not available.

$5,500 - $7,500 a year

Stand Together Fellowships pays participants a stipend of either $7,500 for full-time participants working approximately 32 hours per week at the partner organization, or $5,500 for part-time participants working approximately 24 hours per week at the partner organization. Attending the entirety of the online and on-site KIP programming is required for both full and part-time participants.
