Job summary

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in construction equipment sales preferred.
• College degree preferred; equipment sales experience may substitute.
• Ability to use standard desktop applications (Microsoft Office) and internet-based programs.
• Strong communication with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
• Ability to travel throughout the territory with occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Manage a designated territory to maximize PacWest Machinery presence on equipment purchases.
• Sell, rent and lease new and used Volvo and complementary equipment.
• Quote and negotiate prices, deliver contracts and close orders.
• Develop relationships to increase market share, revenue, and gross profit.
• Provide on-site demonstrations, inspections, and technical support.
