CBI Health in the London Dundas clinic is seeking a Kinesiologist / Exercise Therapist to support the interdisciplinary team in helping clients recover and return to work through tailored exercise programs.

This 12-month temporary position offers competitive hourly wages and opportunities for professional growth within a large Canadian healthcare network, with a focus on client-centered care and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics and active registration with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario or plan to register by Spring 2027.
• Strong time management, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Empathy and rapport-building with patients.

Responsibilities

• Treat various patients in a clinical gym setting under supervision
• Design and implement therapeutic exercise programs to address client needs
• Assist with assessments to confirm job demands and return-to-work readiness

Our London Dundas clinic is looking for a Kinesiologist / Exercise Therapist to complement our talented interdisciplinary team. This is your opportunity to do the work you love every day. Using your exercise therapy skills, you will achieve outstanding clinical outcomes and client engagement with the people that you treat while helping your clients to return to work and everyday activities at all stages of rehabilitation.

This is a temporary position on a fixed term of twelve months.

Wage range:$22.00–$24.00 per hour

Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day

• Treat MVA, LTD, WSIB and private patients in a gym setting
• Work under the direction of the Physiotherapist and/or Occupational Therapist in matters regarding treatment, progression of treatment and management of the client
• Design and implement a therapeutic exercise program to meet the identified client needs
• Complete employer assessments such as Physical Demands Analysis (PDA), Post Offer Employment Testing (POET) and Functional Abilities Evaluation (FAE) to confirm job capability of essential job demands
• Prepare progress and discharge reports delegated by the treating clinician
• Assist the treating clinician with return to work planning
• Ensure the gym area is presentable, organized and free of obvious safety hazards

What you need to be successful

• A degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics
• Registration in good standing with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario or plans to become registered by Spring 2027
• Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to work independently
• The ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• The desire to work hard to improve your skills
• Empathy with an effective ability to build rapport with patients
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and to facilitate our clients’ needs by exceeding their goals
• Experience in interdisciplinary care considered an asset
• Experience with chronic pain, concussion management and chronic conditions considered an asset
