Performance Academies in Columbus is seeking a Kindergarten Teacher to educate the whole child in a structured, inclusive classroom. You will lead standards-aligned instruction, differentiate for diverse learners, and monitor progress to drive growth.

You will engage families, collaborate with colleagues and leaders, and uphold school-wide expectations while fostering a safe, positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction using the Performance Academies curriculum and instructional resources.
• Plan and implement lessons meeting diverse learning needs through differentiation and data-informed instruction.
• Monitor student progress with formative and summative assessments and adjust instruction to promote growth.
• Create meaningful learning experiences that foster critical thinking, inquiry, and student engagement.
• Maintain high academic expectations while supporting students toward ambitious goals.
• Promote regular student attendance through engaging instruction and positive communication with students and families.
• Create a safe, positive, inclusive classroom environment and implement behavior expectations consistently.
• Build strong relationships with students while supporting academic, social, and emotional growth.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues, instructional coaches, and school leaders to improve student outcomes.
