Job summary

Responsibilities include lesson planning, evaluating student progress, leading classroom prayer, and, if needed, teaching online via Google Classroom or similar platforms. Evening/weekend flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• Completed bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Certified by the State of Arizona as a Teacher with renewal per state law.
• Level I of the Diocesan Ministry Certification with renewal every three years.
• Maintain certification current and in good standing.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and support the Catholic Mission of the School by aligning with Church teachings.
• Teach in accordance with a Catholic religious curriculum and school policies.
• Plan lessons to meet academic goals and adapt to online platforms when needed.
• Lead classroom prayer and foster a faith-based learning environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct; attend trainings and meetings.
