Job summary

IOTA Community Schools is expanding to Little Rock, Arkansas, seeking licensed elementary teachers to deliver engaging instruction for grades K-6. You will plan, assess, and refine lessons to promote student growth while collaborating with a team of educators in a standards-driven program.

Responsibilities include developing weekly plans, using data to inform instruction, and supporting student services and family communication in a 195-day school year with a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Arkansas Teacher’s license for Elementary Education K-6 or ECE P-4 or eligible.
• Experience with elementary-aged children and tutoring/reading foundations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in assigned content areas per standards using diverse materials.
• Develop and submit weekly and long-range lesson plans with objectives and assessments.
• Use data to evaluate progress and communicate results to parents.
• Maintain classroom management and address student needs with interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to align curricula and meet state requirements.
• Support student activities and participate in meetings and professional development.
