TITLE:Classroom Teachers

QUALIFICATIONS: R. I. Certification as Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, or Secondary School Teacher (as appropriate)

REPORTS TO: Building Administrator

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: School Year. Salary and other conditions as per contractual agreement with School Committee

EVALUATION: Evaluation annually in accordance with provisions of the School Committee Policy on Evaluation

JOB GOAL: To lead students toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional and psychological growth and maturation

• Evaluate student progress on a regular basis.
• Maintain accurate, complete and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation.
• Assist in upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative regulations, and Board Policy.
• Make provision for being available to students and parents for education-related purposes outside the instructional day when required or referenced under reasonable terms.
