Job summary

Middle Valley Elementary in Hixson, TN, part of Hamilton County Schools, seeks an energetic elementary teacher (K-5) to join a high‑performing team.

You will plan and deliver standards-aligned instruction, differentiate for diverse learners, and collaborate with instructional coaches to support student growth and family engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid Tennessee teaching license in Elementary Education (K-5) or enrollment in accredited teacher preparation program.
• Experience in Title I or high-need school settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess instruction aligned to Tennessee state standards.
• Design engaging lessons with clear objectives and measurable outcomes.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
• Collaborate regularly with colleagues and support staff.

Compensation & Additional Info

• Salary Scale based on education and experience - starting at $50,000.00
• Eligible positions may qualify for additional pay under the Differentiated Compensation Plan
