Job summary

Hamilton County Schools is seeking an Elementary Education teacher for the K-5 range at Bess T. Shepherd Elementary School.

The role emphasizes planning, delivering, and assessing instruction aligned to state standards, with a focus on differentiation and strong classroom management. The ideal candidate will collaborate with staff, build positive relationships with students and families, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid Tennessee teaching license in Elementary Education (K-5) OR current enrollment in an accredited teacher preparation program.

Compensation & Additional Info

• Salary Scale based on education and experience - starting at $50,000.00
• Eligible positions may qualify for additional pay under the Differentiated Compensation Plan
