Qualifications

• Must pass required state and company background checks.
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• College coursework or degree in early childhood education or CDA preferred.
• At least 1 year of teaching experience in child care, daycare or preschool preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP).

Responsibilities

• Guide a teaching team to create plans and lead hands-on activities for 4- and 5-year-olds.
• Maintain open communication with parents about daily milestones.
• Keep a safe and clean classroom by following procedures and guidelines.
