Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that reflect district curriculum requirements and accommodations for individual differences.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials matching student needs and TEA guidelines.
• Conduct ongoing assessment of student achievement and use results to guide instruction.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula for students with IEPs.
• Plan and assign work to instructional aides and volunteers; supervise their work.
• Maintain a productive classroom environment and manage student behavior per policy.
