Responsibilities

• Assesses individual student and class needs.
• Determines learning objectives and follows the program's course of study.
• Plans learning experiences for students and files plans as required.
• Plans group and individual instruction to meet diverse needs.
• Creates an effective classroom learning environment.
• Monitors progress and reports achievement to parents and staff.
• Maintains records and confidentiality; administers tests as needed.
• Collaborates with staff and attends staff meetings.
