WAYNE TOWNSHIP PUBLIC SCHOOLS in Wayne, New Jersey, seeks a B-001 Elementary/Secondary Teacher. Under the supervision of the Building Principal, you will deliver instruction aligned to NJ state standards, develop lesson plans, differentiate for diverse learners, and manage a productive classroom environment.

The position requires full state certification, collaboration with colleagues, data-informed instruction, adherence to district policies, and ongoing professional development.

Qualificações

• A teacher must be fully certified according to the requirements set forth by the Department of Education of the State of New Jersey.

Responsabilidades

• Plans and implements an instructional program within the classroom in a manner consistent with policies, curriculum, and resources approved by the Wayne Board of Education and aligned to NJ state standards and mandates.
• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials that provide appropriate instructional strategies in order to reach all students.
• Plan activities and lessons that are age-appropriate and meet the needs, interests, and ability levels of all students.
• Differentiates for instructional purposes to enhance pupil performance and provide for individual needs.
• Maintains standard of pupil behavior to provide an orderly, productive school and classroom environment.
• Guides the learning process towards the achievement of curriculum goals and objectives in accordance with the District's philosophy of education.
• Effectively utilizes available technologies.
• Continually assesses student progress using formative and summative assessments and provides progress reports as required.
