Job summary

Dal-Tile Corp., part of Mohawk Industries, is seeking personnel to operate tile manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced setting in Dickson, TN. The role requires safe handling of machinery, adherence to QMS, and meticulous record-keeping. The team emphasizes development and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow the Quality Management System (QMS) and SOPs.
• Maintain accurate safety, quality and productivity records.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of all assigned equipment.
• Follow the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Stock lines/machines with needed materials.
• Transport, weigh, and mix appropriate ingredients.
• Load/unload machines and perform periodic output checks.
• Create samples and conduct quality control checks.
• Monitor equipment/processes and report safety, quality and productivity issues.
• Maintain documentation/records for safety, quality and productivity.
• Keep area safe, clean and organized and support skill development.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Job Duties:

• Ensures safe and efficient operation of all assigned equipment.
• Follows the Quality Management System (QMS).

• Stocks lines/machines with needed materials.

• Transports, weighs, and mixes appropriate ingredients.

• Load/unload machines.

• Performs periodic checks on output.

• Creates samples and performs quality control checks.

• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor including safety, quality, productivity, and systems-related issues.

• Maintains documentation/records relative to safety, quality, and productivity for assigned area.

• Follows standard operating procedures and safe operating practices.

• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Supports a life-long learning environment, enhancing own skills as well as assisting in the development of other employees.
• Performs other related duties as required.
