About the Role:

The Kiln Operator plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by managing and overseeing the operation of industrial kilns used to fire ceramics, bricks, or other materials. This position ensures that the kiln operates efficiently, safely, and within specified temperature and timing parameters to produce high-quality finished products. The operator monitors kiln performance, adjusts controls as necessary, and troubleshoots any issues that arise during the firing process. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to prevent damage to materials and equipment. Ultimately, the Kiln Operator contributes to maintaining production schedules and meeting quality standards that support the overall success of the manufacturing facility.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience operating industrial kilns or similar equipment.
  • Basic understanding of kiln firing processes and temperature control.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and production instructions.
  • Physical ability to handle materials and stand for extended periods.
