Qualifications

• Six months or more of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, lumber, production, or heavy-equipment environment.
• Experience operating high-capacity forklifts (lifting capacities >20,000 lb) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Taylor and Hyster high-capacity forklifts safely in the kiln area.
• Load, unload, transport, and stage lumber during the drying process.
• Perform batch kiln change-outs while maintaining production flow and inventory accuracy.
• Load and unload kiln charges while ensuring proper product identification and inventory control.
• Respond to critical alarms and follow established procedures.
• Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
