Job summary

KidStrong, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Coach in McKinney, TX to deliver a science-based curriculum for kids from crawling to 11 years old. Classes are 45 minutes, energetic, and engaging, with up to 24 hours of weekly instruction.

The role emphasizes building brain, body, and character while ensuring safety and progress for every child. Experience with kids and strong communication with families are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching kids in groups or classes.
• Comfortable leading a group of children.
• Ability to communicate curriculum to families and parents.

Responsibilities

• Deliver KidStrong's curriculum to kids ages crawling–11 in engaging, high-energy 45-minute classes (up to 24 hours/week).
• Develop brain, physical, and character in every session beyond athletic skills.
• Physically demonstrate movements, support proper technique, and keep every kid safe and progressing.
• Build authentic relationships by counting with and mentoring kids and families before, during, and after class.
• Guide parents through the flow of class — they're part of the experience too.
• Understand and communicate the why behind our curriculum clearly and confidently.
• Use the KidStrong Coach App to record attendance, awards, and student data.
• Communicate with your team professionally in person and via Slack.
• Review weekly programming to prepare in advance of classes.

Compensation: $18–$22/hr (based on experience and certification level)
