Job summary

SafeSplash Swim School is seeking energetic Swim Instructors to teach swimming skills using our curriculum in a fun, positive environment. You will provide ongoing feedback to students and ensure safety during classes.

Flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow in the swim education field are offered. Certification assistance is provided to help you obtain CPR/First Aid credentials within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you.
• WSI certification preferred.
• Current American Red Cross CPR/PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will help you get certified in 60 days of hire.
• Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming skills in SafeSplash curriculum in a fun, positive manner.
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts.
• Structure class time to include repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills.
• Ensure swimmer safety.
