Child Development Schools in Marietta, GA, is seeking a Childcare Cook to prepare nutritious meals for young children in a fast-paced kitchen. You will follow CACFP guidelines, ensure food safety, and support classroom staff as needed. A strong, compassionate approach to child wellbeing is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Valid food handler's permit (or ability to obtain one prior to start).

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage meal timing for multiple classrooms.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to menus and CACFP guidelines.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures.
• Accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies for enrolled children.
• Track meal counts, inventory, and supply needs; communicate with center leadership.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Support classroom staff during non-kitchen hours and assist with activities.
