Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• North Carolina child care licensing requirements met for assigned duties.
• Enrollment in NC Early Childhood Credential within 90 days of employment.
• Completion of all required credentials and trainings within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal prep and serving per guidelines.
• Follow CACFP meal patterns for all activities.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation.
• Assist with inventory and storage of food and supplies.
• Maintain accurate meal counts and documentation.
• Support meal service in classrooms as needed.
• Communicate effectively with staff and supervisors.
• Complete required trainings and meetings.
