Job summary

Gold's Gyms Of The Carolinas seeks a Kids Club Associate to supervise and engage children in a gym setting. You will lead age-appropriate activities, read to kids, and ensure a safe environment while parents are using the facilities.

You will coordinate with parents, sanitize equipment, and maintain daily paperwork. Prioritize safety, provide cheerful customer service, and support a welcoming gym atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years childcare experience preferred.
• Infant and Child First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Care for children in a defined area of the gym for attending members.
• Organize and participate in recreational activities, such as games.
• Read to children and teach simple painting, drawing, crafts, and songs.
• Care for special needs children as needed; assist with equipment as required.
• Organize and store toys and materials to keep the Kids Club area tidy.
• Maintain a fun, energetic demeanor and sanitize toys and play equipment.
• Assist in planning age-appropriate activities weekly.
• Complete required paperwork and attend staff meetings.
• Assist with diaper changes, clothing changes, and restroom needs.
• Ensure parents sign in/out and enforce Kids Club policies.
• Use Parental ID to verify safety during drop-off/pick-up.
• Maintain safety by keeping drinks/food out of the Kids Club area.
