Job summary

Chuze Fitness in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Kids Club Supervisor to lead a team of Chuzers, ensuring a safe, engaging environment for children and delivering warm member service.

In this role, you will oversee activities, manage daily operations, and collaborate with the General Manager on coaching, scheduling, and safety standards. A dynamic, growth-oriented workplace with great benefits awaits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of childcare experience.
• 1 year of team leadership experience.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain a positive rapport with children.
• Team-based mindset with openness to feedback.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work varied hours, weekends, and opening/closing shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming experience for members, sign-ups, check-ins, and answer phones; run engaging activities for children.
• Maintain a positive rapport with children and guardians; prioritize safety within the Kids Club.
• Keep the club clean through daily tasks to maintain an exceptional space for members and children.
• Address behavioral issues; collaborate with leadership on solutions.
• Provide feedback to Kids Club staff and partner with the GM on coaching, performance reviews, and recruiting.
• Maintain daily operations, opening/closing procedures, inventory, incident reports, and admin tasks.
• Support the member experience with knowledge of front desk operations, tours, amenities, and POS transactions.

Pay Range:

$16.20 - $18.17 / hour; based on experience.

The Kids Club Supervisor leads their team in creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment for our little Chuzers and their families. You'll welcome and provide excellent customer service to members and guardians, oversee fun and safe activities with children, and ensure our space sparkles with cleanliness.

• Provide a welcoming experience for every Chuze member, guest, and their children, including sign-ups, checking children in and out, answering phones, and running fun, enriching activities for children
• Uphold a positive, friendly, and caring rapport with children and their guardians, prioritizing safety within the Kids Club and addressing guardian concerns as needed
• Ensure the club looks its best by completing and coordinating daily cleaning tasks to maintain an exceptional space for members and their children in the Kids Club
• Mitigate elevated behavioral issues and parent/guardian concerns, leveraging best partnering with leadership on solutions
• Provide real-time feedback to Kids Club Chuzers and partner with the General Manager on formal coaching, performance reviews, and recruiting new talent
• Keep the Kids Club running smoothly by maintaining daily operations, opening and closing procedures, inventory management, incident reports, and other administrative tasks
• Support a seamless member experience by maintaining knowledge of general front desk operations, including membership offerings, club tours and amenities, and point-of-sale transactions

Requirements

Your Skills

• 18+ years of age
• High school graduate or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in Childcare
• 1 year of experience leading a team
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills over the phone and in person
• Ability to maintain a positive rapport with children
• Team-based mindset with the capacity to receive and deliver feedback
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Ability to work varied hours, weekends, and opening/closing shifts regularly or as needed

Preferences

• Bachelor's degree or current continued education in early childhood education
• Bilingual

Physical Abilities

• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
• Ability to walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive arm and hand movements
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to operate a telephone, computer, and other standard office equipment
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and heavier loads with assistance when needed
