Job summary

Fitness Connection is seeking a Kids Club Supervisor to lead a team in providing safe, engaging activities for children during Kids Club hours. The role involves supervising teammates, ensuring safety standards, and coordinating activities within the club space.

The supervisor will actively engage with children, monitor the environment, and collaborate with the Club Manager to plan developmentally appropriate activities and maintain compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Must have Infant and Child First Aid and CPR and AED certification within 30 days of employment.
• Experience in a child care setting is required.
• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Kids Club teammates to ensure safe, engaging activities.
• Monitor safety procedures and maintain a hazard-free environment.
• Schedule teammates to meet child-to-teacher ratios and wage-hour requirements.
• Train and coach teammates; address performance issues promptly.

Position SummaryThe Kids Club Supervisor is responsible for creating and maintaining safe, interactive care for children registered for Kids Club programming at Fitness Connection clubs. This includes managing Kids Club teammates to ensure they are attentive and engaged in activities that are appropriate and safe for children in the care of Fitness Connection during all Kids Club hours of operation. The Kids Club supervisor is also responsible for ensuring the physical environment of the Kids Club space is safe at all times, which includes ensuring all operational procedures and standards are met consistently.
