Job summary

YSS is hiring Kids Club Program Assistants for United Elementary School to support before/after school and no-school day programming. You will help create a safe, engaging environment for elementary-age children and assist with homework, meals, and activities.

We value dependable, energetic individuals who can model positive behavior and build strong relationships with children, families, and school staff in a safe, supportive setting.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification within three months of hire.
• A genuine enthusiasm for working with children and helping them succeed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome kids as they arrive and set a positive tone for the day.
• Lead games, activities, and adventures that spark curiosity and creativity.
• Help with homework and cheer on academic wins.
• Encourage friendships, teamwork, and positive social skills.
• Create moments of support and confidence for each child.
• Balance fun with safety and structure to keep things running smoothly.
• Serve snacks and celebrate everyday achievements.
• Partner with families and school staff to support each child's growth.
• Leave each day knowing you made a difference in a child's life.
