Job summary

Hendrick Kia of Cary is seeking a Quick Lube Technician for a four-day work week to perform express lube, oil and filter changes, and fluid level checks in a busy service bay. You will ensure a clean, safe work area and accurately record hours and tasks performed.

The ideal candidate has basic automotive knowledge, up to 3 years of experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to follow lube guidelines and safety procedures. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Responsibilities

## KIA QUICK LUBE TECHNICIAN 4 DAY WORK WEEKApplylocations: Hendrick Kia of Carytime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R-82465Hendrick Kia of CaryLocation: 90 MacKenan Drive, Cary, North Carolina 27511**Summary:** The Lube Technician is responsible for performing express lube duties on vehicles.**Supervisory Responsibilities:** This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** **include the following:*** Adheres to express lube guidelines.* Performs lube, oil and filter changes by draining and replacing oil and filter, and lubricating all joints, including idler arm steering knuckles, tie rods ends and ball joints.* Reports all necessary repairs to service advisor.* Installs completed LOF reminder sticker in vehicle.* Checks battery, tire air pressure, windshield fluid, transmission fluid and power steering fluid levels and refills as needed.* Checks coolant level and refills as necessary.* Ensures that vehicle is clean and free of fluid residue or fingerprints.* Checks fluid level prior to release of vehicle to ensure proper levels.* Maintains CSI at or above Company standards* Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area* Participates in required training* Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system* Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.* Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values* Complies with Company policies and procedures* Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.* Other duties as assigned**Qualifications:**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
