We are actively hiring a KoreanLinguist to join our Reston, VA team. You will support a government agency with translation, transcription, and interpretation services, including meetings, and may travel domestically or abroad.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in education, foreign language, or technical field with relevant foreign language training experience desired.
• Interpretation experience.
• Translation into English.
• Editing and quality control of language products.
• Summarizing / gisting while drawing upon linguistic or cultural expertise.
• Writing reports.
• Workflow management.
• Triage.
• Subject matter expertise in science and technology or sponsor operations.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation of primarily individual meetings but may include conference-type settings. Having simultaneous interpretation skills is a plus.
• Translating from Korean into English
• This position may require short-term domestic and foreign travel.

Hourly pay rate

The hourly pay rate for these position will range from $59.02 - $95.09
