Job summary

iMerit Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented data annotation specialist in the United States to annotate training data across text, audio transcripts and images, following project guidelines and quality standards.

You will apply critical thinking for ambiguous cases, handle potentially sensitive PII/NSFW content, report tool issues, and collaborate with Language Leads and PMs to ensure high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/ diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in annotation tasks, linguistic data handling, or related AI/ML projects

• Annotate high-quality training data across Text, Audio Transcripts and Images, adhering strictly to provided project guidelines.
• Generate accurate data annotation as per project requirements.
• Apply critical thinking and logical decision-making when handling ambiguous data scenarios.
• Responsible handling of PII data which might contain NSFW content
• Proactively identify and report annotation tool issues, bugs, or potential improvements.
• Collaborate with Language Leads, Project Managers, and technical teams to ensure annotation tasks meet quality standards.
