James Hardie in Scranton, PA is seeking a production helper to assist the extrusion operator in a large, 24/7 manufacturing environment, ensuring efficient operation and quality products.
You will perform quality checks, help with packaging, move materials, and maintain safety and housekeeping while following standard procedures.
Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, at least 1 year of experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to read gauges and a ruler.
Currently offering a $1,500.00 Sign on Bonus
Pay Range: $18 per hour
Responsible for properly performing activities relative to assisting the extrusion operator in efficiently operating the extrusion equipment and producing quality products within a large, 24/7 manufacturing environment. Essential Functions Statement(s)
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Experience: Minimum of 1 year
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills
Other Requirements: Ability to read, write, and understand the English language. Basic mathematical proficiency in the addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers and fractions. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, reading gauges and similar measuring devices.
