Ryder System, Inc. in Key Largo, FL is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator for first shift. Pay is $20.10 per hour with weekly pay, benefits including medical/dental/vision and 401(k). Responsibilities include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a clean driving record and a personal vehicle and travel within the area approximately 25 - 50 % of the day.
• Strong technical aptitude which includes using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, scanners and enter orders into a WMS System.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Must be able to work both indoors and outside.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading/unloading trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in warehouse (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hour of production.
• Perform duties within performance guidelines of the contract.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
