Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is seeking a dynamic Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in delivering outstanding customer service and achieving sales targets in our prestige beauty store in New York.

You will lead by example, coach the sales team, handle cash reconciliation, open and close the store on a rota, and participate in a competitive bonus program with a full benefits package. This role offers opportunities for advancement within a leader in prestige beauty.

Qualifications

• Proven retail experience, preferably in cosmetics.
• Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
• Previous retail operations experience including cash reconciliation and opening/closing the store desirable.
• Previous supervisory experience including coaching/mentoring to meet sales and customer service targets desirable.
• Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and events.
• Experience with retail point-of-sale software.

Description

We are looking for a dynamic and inspirational Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager to ensure the smooth efficient running of the Store. You will use your outstanding coaching and mentoring skills to lead by example, modelling the behaviors that the sales team need to demonstrate in order to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service to achieve all sales and customer service targets.

You will also use your flair for retail and cash handling experience to carry out essential start and end of day cash reconciliation as will also have responsibility for opening and closing the store on a rota basis.

Qualifications

Pay Range:

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $20.00 to $25.00. Exact hourly rate depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Hourly range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program.
