Job summary

La Vie en Rose in Massachusetts is seeking a permanent, full-time sales associate to warmly welcome customers, understand their needs and guide them to lingerie, sleepwear and swimwear selections. You will help provide the best service and drive sales.

Under the store management team, you will open/close the store, process transactions, keep the floor tidy, and support a dynamic team in a busy retail environment with holiday hours.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience in clothing or cosmetics.
• Love clothing that celebrates feel-good femininity (lingerie, sleepwear and swimwear).
• Listen to customers’ needs to provide the very best service.
• Proactive and conscientious with flexibility for holidays and longer hours.
• Functionally bilingual is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a warm welcome; help them find products and answer questions.
• Explain products’ quality, materials, features and suggest other items.
• Be available in fitting rooms to assist customers.
• Meet and exceed personal sales goals with our training.
• Manage the sales floor when managers aren’t present.
• Prepare and place products to create a memorable shopping experience.
• Keep store and backstore clean and organized.
• Identify new products and share top picks with customers.
• Accompany customers to the register and process transactions.
• Follow head office policies and procedures; perform other duties as needed.

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for advising customers to maximize sales potential as well as opening and closing the store. To perform your job well, you will need to:

• Provide customers with a warm welcome;
• Help them find everything they’re looking for—answer their questions, explain the products (quality, materials, technical features) and suggest other products they might like;
• Make yourself available when customers are in the fitting room;
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals (our training will help you get there!);
• Manage the sales floor when your managers aren’t there;
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor to provide a memorable shopping experience;
• Ensure everything is clean and tidy in the store and backstore;
• Be on the lookout for new products so you can share your top picks with your customers;
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process their transactions;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.

PERMANENT, FULL TIME

HOURLY SALARY : $15.25 - $18.00
