Job summary

Cycle Gear Inc. in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Key Holder to deliver an outstanding shopping experience.

You will maintain product knowledge and provide customers and team members with in-depth information on features and benefits, while assisting with opening/closing, returns, special orders, and task delegation. As a sales leader, you will work toward daily sales objectives, keep the store organized, and stay current with brand knowledge and events.

Qualifications

• 1 year+ of Key Holder or Sales Lead experience at a retail store.
• 2+ years of sales or customer service experience.
• Self-starter mentality delivering personalized retail experience.
• Open mind and eagerness to learn riding community.
• Experience with computers and POS systems (RetailPro).
• Motorcycle riding knowledge or interest strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with an outstanding shopping experience.
• Maintain product knowledge and inform on features and benefits.
• Assist with opening/closing, returns/store credit and special orders.
• Help divide tasks amongst Sales Associates and meet daily sales objectives.
• Keep store aesthetics tidy and aligned with merchandising plans.

Average total pay: $13.50 - $19+ an hour (hourly base pay + uncapped tiered commission structure, based on meeting your sales goal)

What to expect when you work here

As a Key Holder, you would be responsible for providing every customer with a great experience. You will be expected to maintain a strong sense of product knowledge, and to provide customers and team members with in-depth information on product features and benefits. You would also assist with, and be knowledgeable in, all store operations, including opening and closing procedures, administering returns/store credit, special orders, and dividing tasks amongst Sales Associates.

Qualifications

Our next Key Holder has:

• 1 year + of Key Holder or Sales Lead experience, or an equivalent role at a retail store
• 2 years + of sales or customer service experience
• A self-starter mentality that consistently delivers an outstanding, personalized retail experience
• An open mind, and is eager to learn and be a part of the riding community
• Experience with computers and POS systems (particularly RetailPro)
• Motorcycle riding, knowledge, or interest (strongly desired, but not a requirement)
