Overview

Duties and Responsibilities

• Refer to cashier, receiver, or sales associate job descriptions for specific responsibilities.
• Open and close the store as directed.
• Assist in managing the store and supervising associates.
• Act as Store Manager in their absence.
• Support day-to-day store operations.
• Help train new store associates.
• Maintain safety and security, reporting incidents promptly.
• Implement company policies and procedures.
• Contribute to increasing sales, maintaining profits, and reducing expenses.
• Maintain store appearance and staff presentation.
• Engage in personal selling.
• Participate in shrinkage control measures.
• Resolve personnel and customer issues.
• Perform other usual retail duties.
• Assist the store manager with miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
