Job summary

Pacific Seafood in Mukilteo is seeking a Key Accounts Specialist to support the Key Accounts team by building account profiles, servicing key customers, and managing projects within the book of business.

The role requires at least three years of Retail or Food Service experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel about 20% of the time, with opportunities to coordinate shipments across locations as needed.

Compensation: $80,000 - $85,000 / year

Summary:

A Key Accounts Specialist at Pacific Seafood is a key role on our Key Accounts team supporting efforts to build account profiles and service key account customers. This position involves the management of key customers and projects and is ideal for someone who is organized, has excellent conflict-resolution skills, and is customer-focused.

Key Responsibilities

1. Account Management
   • Manage and service current customer account base.
   • Support the growth plans for volume/margins set by the Key Accounts department.
   • Communicate frequently with customers key information including price changes, promotions, programs, and policies.
2. Coordinate Internal Processes
   • Collaborate with different departments to meet customer orders and exceed expectations.
   • Support and manage all logistics execution for key account customers in the book of business.
   • Coordinate shipments in various Pacific locations when necessary.
3. Provide Excellent Customer Service
   • Offer timely and effective assistance to key accounts customers.
   • Support and manage any inquiries, issues, or needs from customers in a timely manner.
   • Identify any additional areas of growth or service Pacific can provide to continue to develop customer relationships and profitability.
4. Project Management
   • Establish and maintain relationships with internal sales personnel.
   • Learn and operate the weekly bids systems within AS400.
   • Identify and execute any additional customer project needs for management and development of the book of business.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary to support the overall goals and objectives of the position.

What you bring to Pacific Seafood

Education and Experience

• Required
  • A minimum of three years of Retail or Food Service experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 20% of the time
• Preferred
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Bilingual

• Must be available to work Monday-Friday during regular working hours, with occasional weekend duties.

• Ability to move and transport documents, equipment, or other items weighing up to 50 pounds across various locations for different team members, departments, and events.
• Capable of occasional travel as required by duties, demonstrating efficiency and effectiveness in diverse locations.
• Capable of operating a computer and other office productivity machinery, including a calculator, copy machine, and printer.
• Capable of frequently communicating with team members and stakeholders, accurately conveying detailed or important spoken instructions.
• Capable of perceiving visuals for activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer screen, and engaging in extensive reading.
